  • How long does Squidge and Squish Play Dough last?

    Squidge and Squish Play Dough has a 6 month shelf life if stored below 20°C in the tin provided or an airtight container. In warmer weather store in the fridge and knead well before use. It is a natural product and benefits from being handled regularly.

  • Why is my play dough sticky?
    If your dough becomes too warm due to the weather or being handled lots, it may start to stick. If this happens, chill your dough in the fridge before use.

  • Why is my play dough stiff?
    If you find your play dough has gone a bit stiff and hard to handle, please add a couple of drops of water and knead well.

  • Why is my play dough dry?
    If you play dough has started to dry out, add a couple of drops of oil (coconut works best) and knead well.

  • Why are there salt crystals on my dough?
    This can happen over time as the dough is made using a natural recipe. Just knead and the salt will dissolve back into the dough and be good as new.

  • Why is my play dough sticking to rolling pins etc?
    If you use wooden accessories it is best to oil them to prevent sticking.

  • Does Squidge and Squish play dough contain gluten?
    Yes, all doughs are made with wheat flour so contain gluten.

  • Are Squidge and Squish doughs suitable for vegans?
    Yes, ALL doughs are suitable for vegans.

  • Do Squidge and Squish play doughs contain palm oil?
    No, our play doughs are made with palm oil free glycerine.

  • What glitter do your doughs contain?
    We only use bio-glitters in our doughs which are suitable for vegans and derived from cellulose. 87% biodegradation is achieved in a month with these glitters.

  • How much do you charge for delivery?
    Our delivery is £3.99 or free for orders over £25.

  • Where do you deliver to?
    We deliver to England, Scotland and Wales.

  • Why don’t you deliver to Northern Ireland?
    Unfortunately, the CE testing laws after Brexit have meant it is a huge challenge for us now to deliver to Northern Ireland. Our doughs would require a separate, UKNI testing which we are unable to justify the cost of currently. We will continue to review the regulations and the ability to distribute there.

  • How long is delivery?
    We aim to dispatch all orders within 7 days but please allow up to 2 weeks as sometimes we do get an influx of orders.

  • Do you deliver to Europe and internationally?
    Due to testing laws we are currently only able to sell within England, Scotland and Wales.

  • Do you offer local pick up?
    If you would like to collect your order from our base in Chalford, near Stroud in Gloucestershire, please contact us prior to placing your order and we will arrange this with you.

  • Where are you based?
    All of our play doughs are made in Chalford, near Stroud in Gloucestershire.
